Red Dot 13 Charity Art Auction

The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity Red Dot Charity Art Auction is not your average art auction. Typically, "red-dotting" an artwork at an auction signifies a “buy it now” opportunity. The auctioneer marks the artwork with a small red dot to indicate that it's no longer available for bidding. Our annual charity art auction, however, uses this tradition as a way to pay homage to Chuck Jones, the artist being celebrated. Jones was renowned for his inventive characters and humorous approach to art, making our Red Dot Auction a fitting tribute to his creative legacy. But what sets our auction apart is that all the art pieces are displayed anonymously. Bidders don't know the identity of the artist until after they've made their purchase, emphasizing someone’s love for the art itself and not just the artist's name or reputation.
